Sugar Gliders have large eyes, gray coat and a very long tail. The total length from the tip of the nose and to the tip of the tail is about 10-14 inches, the tail measuring 6-8 inches. There is a distinctive black strip running down the middle of the back.

The Sugar Glider is a vivacious and energetic animal, and likes a lot of attention. These animals will die without interaction, and it is recommended to have more than one species in the cage.
